Guest guest
I liked the response you came up with...Size 42--what difference does it make?...true as well as funny. I'm going to remember that! It was the most fun ever! I remembered to dress myself for the size I currently am and didn't criticize myself for that size. I didn't compare myself to other shoppers and wish I was a size much smaller than I am or built differently than I am. I didn't make myself false diet promises of how I am going to exercise everyday for 2 hrs and eat hardly anything. I love a comment by a friend. She stated some of us are Saint Bernard's and some of us are chihuahuas. No matter how much the St. Bernard diets and exercise he can't become a chihuahua and vice versa. While I am not a St. Bernard (maybe a chubby Labrador...) I am who I am. At one point my very loving and supportive daughter was trying on clothes with me. I had some shorts on that fit well. She said "What size are they?" I said "Size 42 - what difference does it make??? Do they look okay??" She laughed and said yes. She knows I am about an 18-20 and I think I made my point!
