Can Noritate cause flareup of the mini pimples?

About the time I switched from Metrogel to Noritate last week I had a

sudden increase in the rosacea-pimples, the small type, on and around my

nose - my worse outbreak in 6 months I think. My nose is so heavily covered

with them that it feels bumpy. All of them are very small, with very little

extra redness in association, and they don't visibly standout - yet. But

the sheer number of them and the bumpiness worries me. Could it just be a

coincidence that this flareup occurred when I started the Noritate, or

would I be better off going back to Metrogel? I managed to squeeze out

enough Metrogel for tonight - I was afraid I might end up adding fuel to

the fire otherwise. Anyone have this kind of experience? Should I continue

the Noritate? Thanks!!
