Guest guest
This phrase came to my head last night, and it really resonated with me. It was sort of a light bulb moment. To me it means eating a variety of food that I truely enjoy. Taking the time to really taste my food. Eating fruits and veggies with the majority of my meals. Never denying myself anything I truely desire, and savoring every minute of it. Not settling for " inferior " foods. Giving my body enough rest (a very important " nutrient " if you ask me). Always being concious and aware. Avoiding eating past satisfaction. Knowing I can ALWAYS have more. I have gained some weight, and I'm okay with it for now. I guess I should always be okay with it, but I'm pretty sure it's a result of eating more than my body needs. I am confident that with continued practice in IE, I will lose the excess weight. I am still getting the hang of it, and am just trying to take it all in and learn as much as I can from myself. I am a very active person, working out 4-6 days per week (mostly strength training). I want to be as healthy as I can be. The phrase " Feed Your Body Well " is something that reminds me of my goals. It's nourishing. It doesn't remind me of dieting. It is so much more, and I think it will really help me stay in the moment and make food choices that are truely right for me.
