Guest guest
Hi, I'm and I'm new to the group. I just wanted to take a second and introduce myself to everyone. I joined a couple of days ago, and have been reading some of the post. I relate and enjoy reading so much of what everyone has shared. A little about me, I've struggled with food for a long time. I developed an eating disorder in high school, and have battled food ever since. I have done every diet, diet pill, and disordered type of behavior when it comes to food. I have been in recovery for 3-4 years now, but have still battled with food running my life, and with the restriction, binge purge cycle. I was intruoduced to IE about 1 1/2 ago, and read a little of it, but was much to scared to really try it. I have really been asking God to remove my denial, and wow he did, and at the same time I picked up my IE book. I have been able to embrace it, and I am feeling so much freedom. It feels like a miracle to be able to eat bread or crackers, and not freak out or binge after wards. My obessive thoughts have decreased 10 fold, and I have really just been focusing on how I feel when I'm eating. I still have some fear, but I'm trying to take it one day, one meal at a time and I'm doing well so far. I look forward to getting to know everyone! Guest guest
Hi, . Welcome. I've only been a member of this group a short time but the posts here and the fellowship are proving to be invaluable tools on my journey toward my natural weight.
