Hi, :

Thanks so much for your kind words.

You asked us LOL about menstrual periods post-myomectomy.

In a word, for me,-------better!

However, I have to point out that I had the benefit of having a UAE almost

three years earlier.

In the year or so, just prior to my UAE I began to have the sudden " flooding "

incidents similar to those described by many LOL.

The bleeding reduction of my UAE was truly dramatic and remarkable. My nine

day periods became four/five day periods, and sudden flooding was a thing of

the past. I no longer had massive clotting. If my periods never became any

lighter, I wouldn't have minded at all. UAE completely resolved that excessive

bleeding.

But AFTER my myo, my periods did became EVEN LIGHTER! One LOL coined the

term " Barbie " period for such light bleeding. Yes, I had some " tenderness " and

achiness my FIRST period after my myo--but not anything like ferocious cramps.

A little ibuprofen, a little rest (i.e, " getting horizontal " ) and within a

day or two I was absolutely fine. Nothing anyone would really complain about.

All my other periods post-myo have been short, light, and minimal pain. In

fact, I ran out of " Super " Tampons.....and haven't needed anything more

absorbent than " Regular " --now THAT kinda blows my mind. I still can't believe I

won't

need a Super tampon anymore for days 1 or 2.....Amazing, but true.....

By this, I in no way mean to imply that you must have a UAE FIRST

in order to achieve success with your myo! NO!

, I'm very confident that you will see fairly significant positive

results from your myo. BTW, ARE YOU CURRENTLY ANEMIC?

For as long as I have been reading this list, I can never recall anyone

reporting that their periods worsened after myo. Unless, of course, years later

if

the fibroids returned.

My ONLY complaint about my period now is the PMS that precedes it.

To sum up, I think your fears about worsening periods post-myo are completely

unfounded. Seems like you might have only or two of those nasty periods left

before your myo. Hooray!!!!

A few short months from now I'm confident you'll be dancing (unconstipated)

the Myomectomy Mambo.......Hmmmmmm...can we pencil you in for the Talent

Portion of the " Opening Doors " in New York this September?

With a name like " " , I'm sure you could even entertain us with some

Irish Step Dancing....er... or well........maybe you could just fake it?!!!!

In the meantime....

All the best to you!
