Guest guest
O gosh I sure hope so, Janie. I'm feeling worse than ever today & I increased the Armour to l l/2 grains too. Seems some symptoms are getting better, some worse & some new ones. It's so confusing. The worst thing today is extreme tiredness, (Zombiecity here), dry, burny eyes, burning lungs, throat, nasal passages & windpipe. I've got an almost constant pain/ache in my upper left side that's worrying me & sometimes extends to my shoulder & lower ribs to the left part of the stomach. There was a kind of lump there a couple of days ago that felt like the stomach bulging a bit. A friend told me it might be a hiatal hernia. So I stopped taking all my nutritional supplements except zinc & selenium with the Armour because they were irritating my stomach, causing a lot of indigestion & gas. Do you think these are all acid indigestion symptoms or something else? And this sounds gross but I've got this dark brown taste & smell coming from my throat I think along with the burning sensations in the upper chest area. Is that acid indigestion too? It's bad when I wake up. I've been gargling & rinsing with aloe vera & drinking scads of water & liquids, mostly herbal teas, & trying to stay on an alkaline diet. I stopped taking all my nutritional supplements capsules & pills except a liquid vitamin-mineral-amino acid formula I take every morning & an acid-alkaline-vitamin-mineral powder mixed into water or coconut milk with wheat grass powder in it. Also still taking the zinc & selenium capsules I take with the Armour. Because all the other supplements (l/2 dixie cupfull) with food were irritating my stomach, causing a lot of indigestion & gas. Do you think these are all acid indigestion symptoms or something else? And what to do about it? I'm way more tired now than I was when I stopped the Synthroid end of October & started on the Armour Nov. 3rd. Seem to be getting more & more tired, moody, lethargic, forgetting things, can't concentrate, am restless, no motivation, more depressed & having some anxiety but not bad. Are these all more extreme hypoT symptoms from not getting enough Armour or whatever? Or something else? On the other hand my hands & feet are somehow warmer now where they were always so cold before. I'm so confused. Caroline Carolyn > Wondering if I should add some T4/Synthroid to my l l/2 grains armour too to see if helps me feel any better? Carolyn, no. She is much higher in her Armour than you, and still has low T4. That's why she wanted to try it. You are not anywhere near your optimal dose of Armour. Keep on with the Armour, dear one, and you will feel better!! The VAST majority here do great on Armour alone when they find their optimal dose. And you probably will too. Guest guest
Caroline, don't take any supplements in conjunction with your armour. Take the armour first, then 4 hours later, take the supplements. Are you taking the armour in split doses? Now, I realize that a lot of people don't take their armour all at once, during the day like I do, but I have to. If I don't take it first thing in the morning, I don't do as well. Guest guest
I thought we were supposed to take zinc & selenium with the Armour to make it work better. So that's what I'm doing. Fist I swallow the zinc & selenium capsules with water. Then I take the Armour sublingually right afterwards. So I take a larger dose of Armour in the morning w/zinc/selenium. I don't take all my other supplements until way later with breakfast. I take another smaller dose of Armour late afternoon. Then more supplements with dinner. And there's other supplements (pills & liquids) I'm taking between meals & l/2 hour apart from each other. This goes on all day long & into the night. So I'm feeling like a pill/potion-taking machine every half hour & I have to keep setting my timer to remind me when to take the next set of pills or liquids. I'm living to take nutritonal pills & potions moreso than even eating foods. Yuk!! After a rocky, depressing, crying morning, I felt way better the rest of today & got a lot accomplished. I hope that happens again tomorrow. Maybe it's because I raised the Armour by another l/4 grain on Thursday & it's taken a few days to start working better? Hope so.
