Guest guest Posted July 7, 2003 Report Share Posted July 7, 2003 Hello, I'm now 4 months post myomectomy surgery and just had an ultrasound down yesterday. When I originally had my surgery on March 12 they removed a large (16 cm) fibroid plus my left ovary. Anyway, on my U/S report three small myometrial intramural fibroids were seen (small - 1.3 x 0.8 x 1.3 cm), plus a 7 x 4 mm cyst. Has anyone experienced this after surgery? Is that something that is common? Is it normal for fibroids to appear so soon. All these questions and no answers. My gynecologist is on vacation. Thanks for any help you can provide.
