Guest guest
Carol, Can you get the Minomycin or TEVA brands in the UK? We have received good reports on both of these alternatives to the former Minocin by Lederle. Guest guest
Minomycin can be ordered from offfshore suppliers. Most recently I ordered some from freedom-pharmacy since it also had excellent prices (it costs about 5x more at a US pharmacy). But if you've relapsed due to an ineffective brand of minocycline, you may also want to consider switching to (or adding) Zithromax (azithromycin) for a while. Zith is very effective treatment for mycoplasma infections and kills it off rather quickly so be aware there could be a significant herx when starting it. Guest guest
, If all else fails you can order it directly from Drugstore.com. Guest guest
CVS in Philadelphia will no longer be carrying minocin and neither will Walgreen's or Rite Aid. I am really worried about where to get it. Anybody with ideas out there. Has this happened other places?
Guest guest
Try calling Triax direct in New Jersey. I did and they called the drug store in Arizona and ironed out the problem. I think it was a mix up on numbers. Phil Re: rheumatic Can't get Minocin CVS in Philadelphia will no longer be carrying minocin and neither will Walgreen's or Rite Aid. I am really worried about where to get it. Anybody with ideas out there. Has this happened other places?<<< Hi , Similar thing happened to me last week! I went in to Stop & Shop, our local grocery store (large superstore chain) and was told by a pharmacy clerk that they " no longer stock it " ! I was pretty taken aback, so I queried further and on talking with the pharmacist, she called their drug supplier and the Triax Minocin was in the pharmacy within 2 days. It was my first batch, as I've been on other Lyme abx protocols till now and I was shocked at the price - twice as expensive as minocycline generic and I had to pay an over $400 " co-pay " . I've decided to order the Stiefel brand from buylowdrugs in Canada next time. Good luck getting your minocin...maybe they can to special order it for you, because it's definitely still available. Peace, Maz
Guest guest
I just got my Minocin refill from Canada yesterday - Stiefel- and there was a red sticker on my package from the FDA, saying they had opened it and were allowing it this time, but might confiscate future shipments! Gosh. ************************************** See AOL's top rated recipes (http://food.aol.com/top-rated-recipes?NCID=aoltop00030000000004)

Guest guest
Dear Group, I would purchase brand name Minocin via mail order from Canada, where pelleted Minocin is made under license by Stiefel. Their price is much less that the Minocin sold in the US by Triax. For a list of Canadian pharmacies and their Minocin prices, please see my web page www.tmgp.com/minocin.htm Sincerely, Harald At 08:26 AM 12/11/2007, you wrote: >Thanks! >On Dec 10, 2007, at 9:36 PM, phillipstradling wrote: > > > Try calling Triax direct in New Jersey. Guest guest
Harold is right I have bought mine for 2 years from Buy Low drugs in Canada--We fax the prescription to them and give them a credit card number and they ship usually about 5-7 days and it is here in the mail and I think it was about $130.00 per 100.
