I am sorry Jeanmarie. I am a Christian so you may not like to hear that I

believe in marriage. I can't help but feel that if he wanted to make a real

commitment to you, you would be married now. It sounds like he is afraid he

will have to take care of you. Why were you waiting to get married when you

have lived together for 2 years? If he feels trapped, let him go. If he

feels trapped now, when you are married you will be the one trapped. He

will not all of a sudden become a caring, giving husband just because you

get a ring. Do you have a family to move in with? You need support right

now & he sounds too immature to provide it. You call him your boyfriend &

that sounds like that is what he is, a boy, not a man. Stress is a killer

with lupus. This boy is causing you stress & marriage will only make it

worse. If you have children the stress will be ten fold! My suggestion is

to cut him loose & find a kind supporting husband. Cheryl in CA
