Weather Blues...HELP

Hello fine people (in honour of Dawn)

Between being to active (not really my choice), and

the weather, I am in great discomfort. (Its hard to call it

pain after reading Dawn's last post, in fact I feel rather foolish).

Any way, I have had a head ache since Monday. Today I

stayed home and slept most of the day.

How do the rest of you cope with weather changes?

I am going to have to reduce my activity at work. This is

hard since its our busiest season. Fortunately, my boss,

the owner of the bridal salon where I work, is very concerned

for me. Between her knees( she may need replacements in

the future) and my head, we make a great pair!

Anyway, raising my arms and lifting the dresses (about 5-8 lbs)

is just too much. It's frustrating. I used to pick up 4 at a time

and hold them over my head (straight armed) to carry them.

No MORE! I don't mean to sound whiney. But's just been

one of those weeks.

On the good side, the fashion show that I put together and ran

on Sunday went very well. I had expected to have to hand that

off to my assistant, but she had other projects, and her kids

both had pnemonia. I chose dresses, wrote all the copy,

organized the line up, etc, etc, and was really happy that I

was able to do that. There were lots of hands that day to

get all 11 models dressed.... Any way, I never expected

to be able to do all of this so soon after surgery.

Guess I have been paying for the rest of the week. Oh Well.

Changes in the weather can mess me up some, but not too bad. I have to suck it

up and go now anyway...I get about 80 percent of the years work done these days,

anyway. Once it gets to about 75 degrees I get real run down and in the hot

summer months I'm worthless. Anyone else out there REAL run down in hot weather?
