Jim,

I live in the Boston area too. Who did you go to for your Photoderm? I just had my second TX done yesterday by a derm in Needham. The first treatment went really well, with minimal bruising and swelling.

After yesterday's 2nd treatment, one side of my face looks like it has tiger stripes, and the other side has about four raised blisters that are also in a striped pattern. The settings were the same as those used in the first treatment. The only thing I did different this time is I drank some hot tea to induce a flush. I wonder if this had something to do with my skin's reaction to the photoderm?? I also noted that this time it was more painful than the last.

And, the freckles that came up after several days on the first treatment have already surfaced after this treatment. Strange....

The stripes have faded somewhat from yesterday and I can blend them in with some makeup, but the blisters look pretty bad and can't be covered.

I was so enthusiatic about having this second treatment done. I'm calling the doctor this morning to talk to her about this, because it makes me leery to have a 3rd treatment done.

Hope you are healing better than I am!

-Aurelie
