Guest guest
My morning bs was 9.4 (I've been running higher than usual lately) I thought that I would give the 'eat a few nuts' a try. Well, my bs went up (about an hr later) to 11.1! I had 4 plain cashews (I had somehow run out of walnuts). I couldn't take it for another 1.5 hrs (I was out) and it had gone down to 8.9. I just don't understand what is going on. I did take my metformin before I left the house with a strawberry, just the 1. I couldn't face anything else and had to have something no matter how small. I go to the diabetes clinic next weeka nd can't wait to ask whomever I see there about lowering the dawn phen and ask why I am running higher numbers lately when I have been good. Could it be hay fever causing the rise? It's not too bad right now.
