Guest guest
I often yearn for foods that I remember sharing with my father as a child. One of those foods is cheese and crackers. I used to try to avoid eating these because I would often binge on them. Now that they are allowed, I still eat them, but I seem happy with a smaller serving. It's really weird how so much of the foods I love are foods I shared with my father. I wasnt treated very well by my mother when I was a child. The only time she showed me love was when I was sick and she'd make me food. (go figure). My Dad was my best friend when I was a kid. So it makes sense how food came into play there. I was a normal size as a child. I did not start bingeing on food until I was around 13. I can remember when I was around 10 or 11 playing games with food. Like always giving my dog the last bite of what I was eating and making little rules about the way I ate the food. It was very playful and fun! When Sara mentioned the swiss cake rolls it reminde me of ho ho's which i think are similar and how I loved to peel all the chocolate coating off them carefully and then eat the inside. For some reason that just made me happy to play with my food! I enjoyed them so much more! Have a great day! Deb
