I have a few questions for those of you who are post-myo. I had an

ab myo on Monday 8/4. So, I'm about 10 days post myo. I know that

bleeding is normal, but was your bleeding " normal " colored? Mine is

like, really dark. Like, brownish. It's nasty. I'm assuming it's

just old blood from the procedure, but...I have a docs appt tomorrow

morning for my 1st post-myo look-see, so i can ask him then but I

figured it never hurts to ask here too :-)

Also, anyone here that has had dermabond...I'm afraid to touch it, or

like, use a cloth on it to wash it, cuz I dont want it to wear off.

Today, it started to itch. About how long did any of you itch, post

myo? Also, how long was it before you were able to drive yourself?

And last but not least, how long was it before you didn't feel crappy

on a daily basis? I kinda just feel permanently runned down. I'm

sure it's just because my body is working its ass off trying to heal

me, but it's depressing to not feel well enough to do anything, on a

daily basis. It's prob also a little cabin fever talking...

I'd appreciate any and all thoughts on all of this :-) My thoughts

are with fellow NEers, I was lucky to not lose power here where I am

in NJ. First thing I thought was I hoped JenD was doing ok.

Hi ,

I had an abd myo on 7/29. I never really had much bleeding or

spotting afterward, but my doctor warned me beforehand that spotting is normal

as

your uterus contracts back down o a normal size.

I have dermabond, and I was afraid to touch it also the first week,

but my doctor told me at my 1st visit that I can wash it, just don't scrub it.

So I take a warm, sudsy washcloth in the shower & gently wash it. I never had

any itching.

As far as energy, I have noticed a fluctuation from day to day. I

also live in NJ & I am attributing the hot weather to my lack of energy on some

days. Usually I perk up in the late afternoon.

I had no restrictions on driving, so I have been driving since I have

been home from the hospital.
