Joan, When did you order? I ordered mine on November 3rd, and I have a receipt from myrxforless that they shipped on November 5th. I'm wondering the same thing;....did they just take the money or did they really ship? Has anyone else ordered around the same time as I and have they received anything yet? Guest guest
CAN YOU PHONE THEM? I DID ABOUT A WEEK AGO...DIDN'T WRITE down their phone number though, or I would pass it on toyou. Filling out a dispute at the bank has worked VERY WELL for me. They are more than aware of the problems with inernet and really try to help people resolve the problmes anf fraud too when that happens. ~inga on 11/17/04 11:49 AM, britishley at britishley@... wrote: i had been checking the site daily to see if my armour had shipped. it never shipped according to " my account " on their website. i contacted my bank and they said that they could file a dispute and i would get my $ back. > > Joan, > > When did you order? Did anyone else who ordered at the end of October beginning of November see if they shipped the order out under their acc't info? According to my acc't info, I ordered on the third, and they shipped on the 5th. Hopefully, this is what happened, and my order was not seized. They sent me an e-mail receipt that same day that I ordered confirming everything. Sim

Guest guest
Sim, if your credit card companies work the same way as they do in the UK (and I am speaking with experience of working with them in a business background) you can call them and ask them to put that charge under investigation. They will withold the charge until you receive the goods. If you don't receive the goods you let them know and they will drop the charge and recover it from the vendor if they can. If they can't recover it then it becomes their loss. Most credit cards have this kind of cover for internet and/or mail order purchasing Lynda (in the UK) Re: rxforless $ Thanks for the info. My husband wasn't thrilled that I placed this order to begin with ( " let me get this straight: you're ordering drugs thru the mail, from MEXICO??? " lol). I'd hate to have to tell him that the whole darned placed closed shop and skipped town the second I brandished a credit card. So far, I've told him nothing, except that if anyone said anything to me, I do have a prescription, anyway. Ifigured that if I didn't receive anything in a month, I'd call the credit card company. They did state that it can take up to 4 weeks.

My doc did actually prescribe Armour for me a few days later, but I doubt she will up my dose to the needed amount. I'm pretty sure I ordered mine on the 4th. If I got a message of dlivery, it went through spamblocker and has since been deleted. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will still come. I haven't discussed the closing with my hubby either. > >

I haven't discussed the closing with my hubby either. Uh oh, : D Sounds like we'll be in the dog house together! Yeah, my doc prescribed only 15 mg to start, and I wanted to be sure I wasn't completely dependant on him if I still didn't feel well in two weeks and he didn't want to up the dosage. I am supposed to get bloodwork in a few weeks and to see him by mid december . I also have an appointment with someone else in mid december who is less conservative (he likes to see people with a tsh of under.4 and is not adverse to using armour) My current doc does not have a problem with armour, either, but he's very conservative. So far, I've been on Armour for two days. It seems much more gentle in some ways to synthroid. On synthroid, even a small amount like 25 mcg, I felt terrible, like I just drank a pot of coffee and was half buzzed out on caffeine and half exhausted. Guest guest
Sim You are on Thyroid Releasing Hormone (TRH)? I must have missed something somewhere. Surely your Armour needs to be upped in a couple of wks to around 30 mgs, at least. 4 wks is a long time to wait to up on a measly 15 mgs. Afraid you're going to feel worse in a little while because it's just enough to stop your own thyroid from producing any at all. Re: rxforless $ > I'll keep my fingers crossed. : ) Actually, my doc just prescribed > armour for me yesterday, and I just started taking it today. > However, he prescribed a ridiculously low dose of 15 mg; although he > wants me to have bloodwork and see him in a month, so he may be > thinking to increase the dose. Guest guest
I always print out my confirmation receipt because I will not remember what day I ordered it. I also print out the shipping notification from the company, and I save the email that shows it, just in case. That way, if I have to contact my bank, I'll have some proof in hand.
