Guest guest
Your posts are much appreciated--especially Laurie's comment about it not being a moral issue. How strange that it feels like one, but of course, it's not. I will review last week's posts. This is a sane place to be. Thanks again. Guest guest
Hi Constance, Well it isn't a moral issue, you're right, but you're not wrong to think it feels like one because society gives us warped and sick messages that make it SEEM like there aught to be shame attached to food. But in reality that is a wacko, puritan idea! All the skinny models, all the fad diets, and that type of stuff gives out an irrational message that there are good and bad foods and shame to be had if you're not eating a lettuce leaf and looking like a twiggy; I laugh because it's so ridiculous and I reject that bizarre stuff because it harms me otherwise. Food IS for fuel and food IS DEFINITELY for pleasure and satisfaction. I say to eat and enjoy it!
