Guest guest
Hi Gillian, > <snip>. Just heard on the radio that you should KEEP taking > your medication, and do not stop in order to have a few drinks! I know I'm putting my foot in it, but I've never really understood the need for those drinks in the first place, specially if they conflict with our meds. My family used to drink more openly (now they surreptitiously pour them into disguised containers) at the family gatherings and always seemed so puzzled that I could actually enjoy myself without the requisite drinks " to loosen up " . Of course, they proceeded to sneeringly try to coax me into joining that part of the festivities and seemed so totally frustrated when they failed to succeed. Guess I could have mentioned that " people watching " is one of my favorite pastimes, especially when they reduce the level of their inhibitions. <G> > Having observed the FEW e-mails recently I assume you are all CURED, Not " cured " but reconciled to the fact of the existence of said illness and determined not to dwell on it to the point of continually writing my descriptions of it unless it's to offer assistance to others. > have NO PAIN, Ha, with this cold front that just blew into our area? And it was only down to 28 degrees F.! > or EMOTIONAL problems? There was a sizable group in the chat room last night ready to share their woes and offer encouragement to those who were having a very rough time. It was truly beneficial to me personally to be able to discuss depression and its connection with arthritis. I grew much quieter about my own problems after reading those of people who are obviously in much worse shape than I. AND made the cyber-acquaintance of a neighbor! One of my most recent resolutions is to decrease my complaints to anyone who does not know first hand what I'm experiencing. Few " normal " people want to hear complaints and from what I 'heard' in the chat room last night, it may be part of what drives our friends and family away from us. Some of the participants sounded deserted and very lonely. It would be of interest to me to hear how some in this group have learned to maintain their own contacts with friends and family. Guest guest
Hi, I am only getting a few messages each day. I used to get a lot more. I was wondering whether some of the people on this list have joined another list. I have some questions. Do any of the people on this list have bouts of sinus problems? If so, what do you do for them? My doctor prescribed something to unclog the sinuses. I also use Sudafed sinus. Thanks, ette
Guest guest
Hi ette, There are currently close to one thousand people on this list, so everyone is still here. Guess they can't think of anything to say at the moment Chris. > Hi, > > I am only getting a few messages each day. I used to get a lot more. Guest guest
Your welcome Roy - its the old pay it forward for me. I got so much from folks here that I thought it was just right to do the same for others. Arkansas Roy <chickenbirdtree@...> wrote: Hi Brad and Dan, I don't feel quite as lonely with you guys around. Glad Phil is coming back. You guys are such a comfort to me and informative. I am really getting it back and the ME is sure wonderful. As you said Dan it is more important than I realized. I don't always climax but I sure do give my wife more fun anyway and she is so pleased after all these years. It started when I was about 40 and has been on and off ever since. Wasn't until I heard about T shots that I startted to live again then all of a sudden it fell off, that is when I found out that high E2 was the problem. Arimidex is taking care of that. At 83 I feel geat again. Yes my Endo didn't know what it was or how much to prescribe but I said you write it and I will figure out the dosage. Looks like .25mg every 9 days or so is my dose. Thanks for return guys, I had missed you. Blessings, and I mean it! Roy --------------------------------- Want to start your own business? Learn how on Small Business.
