That *does* fly against conventional wisdom, which is if it's dry, wet it,

and if it's wet, dry it.

Amen amen amen. NASTY infection.

There has been much discussion over the past month about this. You can go

back and check the archives for more info. I believe the consensus was to

use an athlete's foot cream, and to keep the area as clean and dry as

possible.

Hello group,

I'm 33 years old single never been married and never had a child. I see no

marriage or child in the near future. I need some help with some long hard

question to myself that I have been thinking about for one year. I found out

that I have uterine fibroid last year in April. i was very shocked by this but

my doctor seemed not to worried. She say you can take them out if it really

bothers you or just have them in there until you decided to have a child. My

fibroid are growing because i could feel them. My insurance is about to end in

three months and I have applied to several health insurances companies and they

have denied me because of my fibroid. So i am thinking about removing them and I

need someone to talk to who have experience this and had surgery taking them

out.

HELP????QUESTIONS???ANSWERS????

Adam,

After being diagnosed with PLS now for almost two years now my neur just

two days ago still shook her head and said she couldn't believe I don't have

ALS but the EMGs keep coming back normal. Two years ago I had my first real

symptom. Today I am totally w/c bound, little coordination (takes me

forever just to type this), extreme exhaustion/brain fog, trouble speaking

and swallowing... Like you I was extremely active, got your same symptoms

and then some.

Since PLS is in the ALS family look at this as a continuum with server ALS

on one end and minor PLS on the other. The middle gets murky with

Hawkins on the low end of ALS (or middle) and people like me in the high end

of PLS or again in the middle.

I can't write much since it takes me so long but I hope this helps and keep

asking questions.
