Guest guest
You can 'pre' think what you imagine YOUR brunch experience will be like - selecting just what YOU want and savoring it to your satisfaction. Also, if you do get 'into' the social eating frenzy, do NOT beat yourself up over this. Even normal eaters over eat on occasion - especially on special occasions ;-) And don't 'starve' yourself before hand, just see if you can time your hunger to be 'ready' for a pleasant time eating with others Best to you - Katcha IEin since March 2007 > > tomorrow i am going to brunch with a bunch of my family for my mother in law's birthday. it is a nice little place that i know will have both delicious healthy fare and delectable indulgences. a lot of the people i'm going with are overeaters. and big on social eating. i'm feeling a lot of anxiety over this. any tips/suggestions? >
Guest guest
well, i can give a tip from " where I'm at " and maybe those who have been doing this longer/better can give some too...but the first thing that comes to my mind is if you want to not eat as much or as " long " as they do, then have a yummy beverage in mind that you can " enjoy " while they may enjoy food longer. I like to get a special ice tea with splenda, or a good cup of decaf with splenda and cream, etc. Warrior > > tomorrow i am going to brunch with a bunch of my family for my mother in law's birthday. it is a nice little place that i know will have both delicious healthy fare and delectable indulgences. a lot of the people i'm going with are overeaters. and big on social eating. i'm feeling a lot of anxiety over this. any tips/suggestions? >
