Thank you, . That was very helpful. So what I am guessing from this site is that I can do a trial period of 9 months, still get my disability and work for Kay...that is cool.

Wonderful news Sharon!!!! Congrats. About the SS question and working, here's what the Social Security site says:

Have some big news and a few questions--attn SS

Okay, guys. I have some big news. I am getting married next month. Alan and I are getting married in just a simple ceremony at the courthouse and then we'll prolly have some kind of a party. We don;t have a lot of money to do anything huge.

Question on disability: I know you can make some money and still be on it. Does anyone know how much? I am planning to do Kay and there's really no guarantee on how much I will make per month with it so I was wondering.

We also plan to have children. With me being on disability, will our children also get disability?Anyways, when time draws closer, SS, I will give you my new address. :)SharonPlease visit our website at:http://ACES_Autoimmune.tripod.com

Mom was 22 and Dad 21 when they got married and they're still together after 52 years.

I just got married before for the wrong reasons.

The first one I wanted to get out of the house and knew that with my family just moving out wasn't an option.

The second one I was looking for a Dad for my kids and married an elementary school teacher.

This time was for me, I took my time, I found someone that is actually compatable with me and that is truly my soulmate. That said, I did move in with him after only about 8 months.

I look at it this way--if I hadn't married the first time so young, I wouldn't have kids.

This time is for keeps.

Congratulations Sharon,

Having just re-married 2 years ago ( & swearing for 14 years before that that I would NEVER re-marry) I can recommend it. Have a wonderful future together.

Yeah. Denny and I just never fight. We handle most things with humor and that makes a big difference.

The only thing we really disagree on is politics and we only talk about them rarely. Of course it's more this year because of the elections.

He's very conservative.

The thing is, I think that there is always more than one approach to things and that if someone doesn't agree with me that's their perogative (talking about politics here) but he thinks HIS way is the RIGHT way. (and it is definitely the RIGHT way, LOL)

But even our politic discusssions are just that--not arguements.
