I went out yesterday to buy a pair of jeans, and had to get them 4, yes 4, sizes smaller than my last pair. What is more, although they have a little stretch in them (for comfort, you understand) each seam is not having to do its duty!, and they are positively baggy on the thigh. So I am now a size 18, and that’s official! I hope I shall not have to wear them too long before I need a really small pair!
