Hello everyone and happy holidays. This is my second attempt at IE, the last

time I still had the diet mentality. I'm about to turn 30 and every new year I

make a resolution to lose weight and try a new diet and of course fail at it. I

am categorized as the " professional dieter " in the book. I even went to a

nutritionist to lose weight and she told me to eat 2000 calories a day (I'm

5'11 " female) and I about had a cow and of course ate 1200. It feels weird

honoring my hunger, but I was determined this year to try something I haven't

before and that is NON-DIETING. I guess my question is how long will it take to

notice a loss? I am trying to stay off the scale and maybe weigh in once a

month, but I've gained 3 pounds. I'm trying not to freak out. I would like to

lose 40-50 more pounds (I lost 40 this year already following a strict diet, but

a diet is not a way of life and I want to live).
