Guest guest
If God didn't intend for us to enjoy ourselves while on the planet, don't think He would have given us the smarts to create those wonderful things like Hershey kisses, my beloved Triscuits, etc.! Guest guest
That has to be the most ridiculous piece of both dieting and religion that I have ever read. As for whether or not Jesus ate something...it was Jesus who said, in : "Don't you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man 'unclean.' Guest guest
Jesus was going against all the rules about unclean food; he said pay attention to stuff that's more important than these insignificant little details and rules (of course you see I am paraphrasing, lol) Laurie To: IntuitiveEating_Support Sent: Sun, December 13, 2009 11:10:09 AMSubject: Re:Intuitive Eating GODS way That has to be the most ridiculous piece of both dieting and religion that I have ever read.As for whether or not Jesus ate something... it was Jesus who said, in :"Don't you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? Guest guest
I've come across so many people who feel they know exactly how God intends everything (even some members of my family). I wonder what's at the root of that. Is it an insecure need to be right about everything? It sure isn't about spirituality, that's for sure. Guest guest
Claiming that eating a Hershey's Kiss is not unhealthy, but SINFUL is such an immense guilt trip. Peace, I really hope you find some balance with both food and religion, because I don't think God would look down on anyone for eating a piece of chocolate. Guest guest
One of the things I really loved about Overeaters Anonymous (though much of it didn't ultimately work for me) is the freedom to have my own Higher Power -- to shed all the toxic lies about God I'd ingested or invented. It's very liberating to realize how much of our own craziness we put onto God, and to give ourselves permission to let it go. -----Original Message-----From: IntuitiveEating_Support [mailto:IntuitiveEating_Support ] On Behalf Of reflectionmommySent: Sunday, December 13, 2009 12:25 PMTo: IntuitiveEating_Support Subject: Re:Intuitive Eating GODS way I've come across so many people who feel they know exactly how God intends everything (even some members of my family).
