Guest guest
, Yes, this could be another round of die-off...... especially with the new changes you've made recently..... and the fact that you are seeing progress, along with the BM changes. Hopefully, this will be temporary. Healing the gut takes time..... and some of those bad guys can be really persistant about hanging on down there. You'd think they all would have starved out long ago..... but it's possible they hadn't. You might want to make sure he doesn't get any raw fruits and veggies for right now...... and cut back a little (if you can) on the pork rinds..... until his poops are back to normal. You've replaced the NuThera with some other kind of multivitamin? Or? Could be that he still needed some element of what was in that vite..... hard to know. Do you use SCD yogurt? Patti, mom to Katera, SCD 14 months We have been solid for 5 months, but loose stools for 6 days now, HELP! has been SCD for 6 months now. Early on, his stools turned dark brown and formed on the SCD. (previously Gf/Cf for two years gave him yellow stool that was sometimes formed/sometime d)For the past 6 days he has has either d, or a stool that appears somewhat solid, but as soon as he flushes it shatters in the bowel before going down. I can't figure out why! It is brown, not yellow. He tells me his belly does not hurt, but he made a " bad poop " . Funny part is, behaviorally and academically he is doing the best ever! He is sooo happy and cooperative. His teachers are even writing letters home saying " very, very, very good day today " . Could this be a second round of dye off after 6 months?? He did have a pretty good die off the first week and a half on the diet. He mainly eats a variety of cooked meats (every meal), variety of raw fruit, cooked vegetables, and some raw nuts or Pork rinds for snack. He usually eats three pieces of fruit per day, and two different cooked veggies. (sometimes raw cherry tomatoes w/olive oil and sea salt) The only thing I can think of that has change is: 1. One week ago started making sure we gave him his acidop. on an empty stomach and we have him wait a 1/2 hour before he eats. (one tiny scoop in just cold filtered water) 2. One week ago removed Super Nu Thera Kirkman vitamin b/c he is doing so well. 3. Three weeks ago started the Transdermal DMPS chelation protocol. This is supposed to avoid the gut. (Dr. Buttar's protocol) Like I said, he is doing AMAZING!! Just not solid. Any advice? Guest guest
Ok, Will cut back on Pork Rinds and will switch to cooked veggies and fruit. Do I need to go back to the intro diet? I have not replaced the Super Nu Thera with another multi. I just stopped giving it when the bottle ran out. I just figured w/the SCD he should be absorbing his nutrients better by now and was just doing a test. He is functioning the best ever. Very odd...I was nervous to stop this vitamin b/c it is supposed to help w/language (expressive), I think. I have only made the yogurt once...cashew yogurt. I am still scared to try the milk and cheese. Anyway, I was just about ready to make another batch of yogurt and he started getting the runs. I wasn't sure if it would be a good time to make the yogurt. Should I make it to help out w/the d? Guest guest
My autistic son has been on the diet for 8 months now and diarrhea is back for him too. I am so frustrated. I have been eliminating the foods that I feel he may be reacting to (grapes was a hard one) but it is just getting worse. I am finding some foods in his diaper just as he ate it. The last two days I have tried to give him primarily intro foods and still he is getting worse. The odd thing is my celiac son has pretty much the same diet and is doing great. I am wondering if because of leaky gut, he is now starting to react to most of the foods in his current diet. Did he stop having diarrhea because I switched his diet to foods he was not yet sensitive to but now after 8 months he is reacting again? I wish I knew what was going on inside his body. Let me know if you find any answers. > has been SCD for 6 months now. Early on, his stools turned > dark brown and formed on the SCD.
