Guest guest
Hi Carol Just to tell you, that my also started the bedwetting and daily wetting and had no problems with that pre-SCD. I did the magnesium, that somebody has succes with against wetting, but that didnt work. Then last week, as had an episode of severe d. Maybe because of an infection - I decides to try the electrolyte drink on www.pecanbread.com - only I gave him no honey. The drink made stop screaming and the day after I noticed, that didnt wet his bed that night. For 2 weeks now did not wet his bed and has stopped wetting his pans and also has stopped playing with his stools. So remember this if nothing else works you could try this drink. I give one drink daily with 1/4 teaspoon baking Soda 1/4 teaspoon salt put in a glas of water and drink. I wish I had found out earlier about this drink myself - all the cleaning and washing I did. I hope this or some of the other advice will help you. By the way - this drink seems to give my son some color in his cheeks - normally he is pale. While he is a little more interested in trying to make conversation, he is more irritable (still) and has been wetting his pants (for the first time in over a year), even going on the floor (and laughing) a couple of times. To me, he seems worse overall than before starting the SCD. Are we doing something wrong? I was hoping for at least some marked improvements by this point. We haven't done yogurt since we tried the probiotics (from Harry) a couple of months ago--these made him wet his pants initially and they made him irritable. Any ideas out there? We're getting so discouraged!
