oxygen levels

Hi Everyone:

I have a question for scleroderma patients, or anyone else who may have this

problem. I recently completed an echocardiogram on the heart and a CAT scan

(without the injection of the dye) for the lungs. Both indicate that the heart

is functioning well, no fibrosis and no scar tissue in the lungs.

Glad for that, but here is the problem,

In doing the other tests, where I do activity and my oxygen levels are

measured, my oxygen levels decrease when I'm active, and I can feel the

difference.

I had a muscle enzyme test to determine if the muscles were not getting enough

oxygen and that is also negative. Now my doctor is suspecting that the problem

may be on the cellular level and that my cells are not getting enough oxygen.

I go for tests on this area on Thursday. Has anyone experienced anything like

this? Any suggetions, etc? Any scleroderma patients also experience this?

Thanks for your replies,

Roni
