Guest guest
All my growing up years my mother and grandmother kept telling me I needed to wear different things or do my hair differently to 'make my face look less round'. Drove me NUTS! Finally when I was about 16 it dawned on me and the next time one of them said something I yelled, 'What that hell is wrong with a round face?!' Last time either of them ever said a word about it. And it changed my own attitude, too. 'Round' is not bad! ~
Guest guest
BRAVO for you !! And of course you are right, nothing is wrong with a round face. No more than a long and narrow one, heart shaped, triangle (up or down) etc etc etc. Not every face is oval that is for sure. Maybe we need to celebrate a face shape day?!? ;-) ehugs, Katcha IEing since March 2007 > > All my growing up years my mother and grandmother kept telling me I needed to wear different things or do my hair differently to 'make my face look less round'. Guest guest
Round faces are beautiful! They're sweet and childlike and open. They say, " Hi. I'm a kind person and I'd love to be friends with you! " They say, " I like to have fun. I'm a person who's great to hang around with. " Round faces are beautiful. Be proud!! > > All my growing up years my mother and grandmother kept telling me I needed to wear different things or do my hair differently to 'make my face look less round'. Drove me NUTS! Guest guest
Hi , I really enjoyed reading how you stood up for yourself when you were 16. Guest guest
Hi , Yes round faces are just as beautiful as narrow faces!! I saw this magazine ad for milk; the "got milk?" campaign and the picture was of mom and her three kids; the one who looked about 6 years old was a very pretty girl who's face happened to be round compared to mom and the other two kids. And she looked as beautiful as the other two. Very interesting what we see when we reject the biases and predjudices.
