well, things  have gone fairly smooth for several months for Fallon and she

has been feeling quite well.  Other than an adj to one of her meds and a

weird episode of loss of sight in one eye that ret'd within 30 minutes all

has been fairly normal.

On Saturday she was stopped and rearended.  The car that hit her was

traveling about 35 mph.  At first she was fine but had neck pain after about

1 hour so we went to ER.  They imobilized her neck until a neck xray was

done.

The xray did not show any further instability...the shifting is still there

but is not anyworse.  The pain in her neck seems to be muscular but when she

looks up the pain is worse and is more in the spine than the muscle.  She has

f/u appt on Monday with her neurologist, they are sending films and report to

him to confirm no further shifting...

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAD PROBLEMS after auto accidents, did they occur

instantly or over time?  The reason why I ask this is b/c the guy who hit her

has NO insurance so we will have to file a claim under the unisured motorists

portion of our policy for damages to the car and/or her.  The damage to the

car is minimal (probably anew bumper and maybe the support bars...)  But i

want to make sure I stay on top of how this will affect her ?  ADVISE anyone?

On a happier note she finished her 1st semester of college with a 3.7 GPA.

Not the usual 4.0 like she is used to but a 3.7 is wonderful!  WE are

pleased with it...

Happy new year!
