Guest guest
Good Morning! Okay, I need help. I while ago I posted about how well I felt and I still feel good, but I am starting to have some problems. Like I am putting on weight again, and at the speed of light again. I had initially lost five pounds when I started taking Armour, some adrenal support and then other supplements. Now, in the last three days I have put that back on in addition to three more pounds. So an 8 pound gain. I don't eat sugar, refined processed foods or anything like that. I eat fruits, veggies, some dairy (glass of milk with breakfast) and I take a sandwich made from 8 grain whole grain bread to work every day, and we eat lean meats. I have also started working out again finally for 30 minutes a day. And I can clean the house now without tiring too easily. But here I am gaining weight! I don't get it, what could I be doing wrong? My medicines are as follows: Armour, adrenal glandulars, calcium, magnesium, zinc, vitamin c, super b-complex (with additional vitamins c), nexium, allegra, DHEA, iron, l-tyrosine, thymus caps (almost out, don't plan to get again), amino acids (capsule form), chromium GTF and I had gotten some Cortislim way back and am taking that since I didn't want to waste it. It doesn't work. I also circuit train for 30 minutes every day and normal household stuff. Help!!!!! What am I doing wrong? Is there anything else I could/should be doing? I don't understand the weight gain, I'm at about 1500 calories a day so I don't know what's up. And of course my husband had to have his 2 cent, eat less, exercise more. I need not say I get REALLY mad....he sounds like all the useless docs I had been to see. And all I have done to get him to understand this, and I thought he was getting it. But no....the reason I am fat is because I am lazy and eat too much! Kiss my A$$$$$ buddy! Yep, I told you I got mad.....and he's my own husband too. Anyway, hope you guys can help me out some. Have a great day! Deb
Guest guest
How much Armour are you on? To gain that fast it HAS to be fluid retention, a classic sign of too low thyroid. Maybe a slight increase is in order? *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes? Guest guest
When you start using your muscles again, they respond by building more muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. So some of your weight gain can be due to muscle gain, which is quite common. You may have lost some fat, and gained more muscle, thus the scale increase! Additionally, adrenal support can cause some weight gain. But I suspect the above, plus the possibility of a touch of water retention, which should go away. Guest guest
so what did we decide when al is flabby then? Is the loss of muscle tone because we are not using them enough???? Guest guest
Thanks Janie, I know that muscles does weigh more than fat, but I have only been able to be working out again for about a week or so. I don't think that I have built up much muscle yet. It seems like the weight is coming on around my belly and hips....the same place it always comes up. I know I can't fasten clothes that I was able to put on a week ago. UGH!! I wish this all would go away!
