Dear Friends,

I am so proud and pleased to share with you that my parents, and

Bettye Carlton (SDA patient) celebrated their 50th Anniversary on Saturday

June 9. We had planned a small 'family only' celebration for that day, but

we live in Houston and that was the day that ravaged the city. None

of us could leave our homes, so the party was postponed and not everyone

made it, but HEY we're thrilled to have had the opportunity to celebrate

such a lasting marriage.

Anyone who feels so inclined could seen mom and dad a greeting at:

bcarlton1@...

I will try to get my techno-guru sister to send along or post up a photo.

One result of dealing with SDS/MSA is that we no longer take any day for

granted as we once did, so you can believe that we had a wonderful time with

this celebration.

God is good!

This is Pam's " techno-guru " sister, Deborah. I think, speaking as a

techno-guru, that you would be better off sending the greetings to:

bettyecarlton@...

as that is mom's REAL email address. Pam apparently isn't thinking too

clearly, these days, but, wow, is she a great sister. :) I'll try to post

a photo in a day or two.
