Oh, Hi , hehe!! I sign out with just " " most of the time, but was

signing out with " , Texas " because of other s on the sites. But, if

you're from Tx, I'm going to flip out looking for some way to sign out

again, haha. I think mine shows the last name in the sbjct matter field, or

whatever we call it.

Read my post to Caroline on how much thyroid I am now taking, as compared to

the amt of Levoxyl I used to take, 100 mcgs for YRS, then 125 for about 5

months or so. Grossly undertreated during those yrs, but now am on 135 mgs

Armour, just changed from 120 mgs. He probably used the Armour conversion

chart, but I think that the figures on there are grossly understated to

comparison. They say that 100 mcgs T4 is approximately equal to one grain

or 60 mgs Armour, but it's really more like 90 mgs Armour, or even more.

IMHO. I am self treating for the last yr, and am so glad to be controlling

the amt I take myself. I now take 5 doses a day, as I upped my Armour to

135 a few days ago and must have T3 available to me at all hrs of the day,

but that's just me.

I've been grossly undertreated too on Synthroid for only years & nothing before

that. I agree the conversion used for Synthroid, etc. to Armour isn't nearly

enough. But I haven't a clue what it would feel like with the right amount of T3

in me either. Obviously aren't getting nearly enough on only the 1 grain Armour

I've been on the past week, upped to l l/2 grains today, since I'm feeling worse

overall.
