Guest guest Posted June 10, 2009 Report Share Posted June 10, 2009 Hey, My first real post to everyone. I've been reading messages for probably about 6 months. I've been working on intuitive eating for 2 and 1/2 years. I started reading Roth's Breaking Free from Compulsive Eating last week. Last Friday and Saturday evenings were stark examples of compulsive eating as I polished off a loaf and a half of a sweet quick bread which I baked on Thursday. Saturday night I was miserable and didn't really feel well until yesterday. Somehow, I think with some help from Roth's book and past input from Gillian, I didn't panic. Today at work was horrible. Stressed out over a situation with a co-worker in which she moved out of our shared office space into another room. But I'm heading to bed now and have not stuffed myself. I even went to a Mexican restaurant for supper: left lots of chips in the basket and have enough fajita fixings for lunch and maybe supper tomorrow. I tried to call two friends tonight to vent and celebrate at the same, no one was home. So, I'm posting instead. I look forward to continuing to learn from you all.
