Guest guest
Hi Molly. Not sure what is causing your swollen belly, but you might try taking your Armour sublingually rather than swallowing it....and see if that helps. If not, the belly may have nothing to do with the Armour. Or, if it does, just give it time. You have introduced something VERY good for you (Armour), and your body may be overreacting. Yesterday, I posted good info on Sublingual--hope you read it. Janie > I should expect the rest of my life? I'm only 39!! I was on > Synthyroid for three years. Guest guest
Come to think of it, I've been more bloated since being on Synthroid than I ever was before. C Swollen, bloated belly - What will help this go away or is this what I should expect the rest of my life? I'm only 39!! I was on Synthyroid for three years. It was not bloated until I began thyroid medicine. What causes this? Thanks, Molly
Guest guest
Molly, Could this be the next level of your autoimmune disease kicking into play? It could be an imbalance in your digestive track that's causing bloating, in which you may want some supplements to support that. Or it could be your adrenal gland not putting cortisol out properly. That causes one to be thick around the middle. I've read a lot, but not read anything to suggest that Armour or generic thyroid would cause bloating. Crystal > > I should expect the rest of my life? Guest guest
Just wanted to clarify my question - This has been going on for the past three years while I've been on Synthyroid. I just started the generic Armour today. I've had the 24 hour cortisol done and it was " normal " . I had a 12 Noon blood cortisol done last Friday and it was 14.9 (range of 3.1-22.4). I *think* that is okay. Do you have any other suggestions of tests I should ask for on my next visit? Do you know what supplements I should take for my digestive tract? Thanks for your help - Molly > > Molly, > Could this be the next level of your autoimmune disease kicking into > play?
