Guest guest
If you make ice cream with the yogurt does it kill off the good bacteria? I assume it does not because you can freeze the starter but can someone confirm this? Also, any other good ideas on what to do with the yogurt. My child won't eat it like yogurt in a bowl. Thanks, Terri

As you add these to the lukewarm fluid (milk), they come alive and multiply. Any cooling or overheating stops this process and kills the living organisms. The living organisms can ONLY live at the right temperatures. They are quite different from the freeze dried spores.
