Guest guest
Hi all.... Hope you all had a better holiday season than I did....I was 11 lbs from goal weight; now it's about 20. I know I was supposed to do better, but it just didn't go that way. We were out of town ( to the outlaws) and it was too much out of my control. No excuses, I know I could have done better. Oh well. On a more positive note, I forced myself to have a perfect eating day today, complete with water! My appointment with Dr. Fisher is on January 12th .... 15 days away. What happens if I'm not at goal when I see him? Will that make a bad impression on him? Should I postpone the appointment? I so wanted to start on the right foot with him. Help.... Guest guest
Hi Maggie I dont know how that works at richmond i am in the south san francisco program and i get nervous everytime i go, infact i have to go tomorrow and i admit i cheated a little here and there but i think i was pretty good about what i did and how i did it, but my scale isnt working right at home at work it says i lost 2 pounds from when i was there two weeks ago, but until tomorrow i dont know i have never gained but always lost sometimes more than othertimes, I still dont know why i am going tomorrow,i mean the nurse has my file she already did this phone interview so i really dont get why i have to drive all the way down there to go over what we allready went over...............but i am taking a day off of work to go and my husband is going to go with me, I would guess you should still go but if you are not sure talk to the nurse case manager about it................I am certain that this has had of happened to other people as well, dont beat yourself up, just pick yourself up and move forward and dont look back ! best of luck colleenMaggie wrote: Hi all....Hope you all had a better holiday season than I did....I was 11 lbs from goal weight; now it's about 20. Guest guest
Hi Maggie, Forget about the " supposed to " aspect. You did the best you could do at that time . . . but that time is past and it is time to focus on doing better in the future. I've never met Dr. Fisher, but I would suggest that you keep the appointment. You might not have done as well as you had hoped over the holidays, but you will have had some time to show that you are back on track. I think that that would make a better impression on him than postponing the appointment. Well . . . that my 2 cents worth. Let us know how it goes, please.
