Guest guest
Jeri, Ok, that was just strike one--we're not thru yet. What about Consumer Counseling? I know that they can get alot of things greatly reduced, and then work out a plan that still gives you that badly needed lunch or dinner out or whatever it is that you do for your sanity checks. Is there low-income or medical rates from your utility companies. (There has to be, it's federal law.) Also the phone companies have special rates for low income, and a step-up plan for middle income. I'm sure the water district also has to have a program. Does Gregg get Medicare yet? If not, then send me a list of his meds, and I'll send you the sites to get them via the drug company, on their patient assistance programs. You might want to send me what you're on too-- and we'll get that help. Send them to me privately, please. Also, we'll need your home address and phone #, so that if I need to I can mail info. Many of the churches have special aid programs that can help with food, groceries, even send someone in to watch Gregg so that you can get out. We can contact the local hospitals as well as hospice and at least know where to start. Hone, My heart goes out to you, Tracie I am not a doctor. The information I share comes from what I have learned via the internet and in conversation with my own MD's. Please - if you find the information interesting, talk with your MD. Guest guest
Hi Jeri, Have you tried looking into Dell?...you can get an account with them and have an almost instantaneous response ... if accepted, which most are, you can purchase a laptop and only pay very little each month. I know that finances are tight for most of us right now. Just a thought that might help out with that. www.dell.com I believe that is the web link. P.S. They will probably offer you a printer/copier/fax at a very low price (I paid about $120) ... it's a great machine ... the "catch" is that dell printers only take dell cartridges ... so they get their money for the machine that way. Guest guest
Thanks, Tracie, You take care too! My DSL has finally been fixed (I hope for good) so maybe I can reply more often than I have been. I must admit that my energy level isn't recovering as quickly as I hoped.
