Seborrheic Dermatitis of the scalp

Hi e-group,

I have a severe problem with seb-derm of the scalp, and was in need of

some advice. I have tried alot of shampoos but nothing seems to work.

My hair used to be thick and long, now it is short, thin, dry and

matted down o my head with the cakiness. I was prescribed Synalar

which did relieve the tension headaches, and loosened the stuff from my

head but not my hair. I lost alot of hair using it too. I am

practically bald now. It is getting depressing. I am not effected on

my face, but occasionally on my ears and almost always on my hands and

fingers. If anyone has any advice that has worked for them please let

me know. I would be greatful. It is difficult being 32, female and

bald.
