Thanks, Deb. I also want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and inspire you

to consider your blessings today.

I'm also thankful for this group, which daily reminds me that intuitive eating

is the only natural, body-oriented, healthy way to eat during this season of

special treats and overindulgence. I'm also grateful for:

Ability to eat normally (intuitively) after years of struggles with disordered

eating, then the past 7 years learning to eat intuitively, and finally the past

8 months of total freedom from bingeing (and purging);

Awareness (through tests and diagnoses) of my food allergies, which help me

choose which foods are healthiest for MY body;

Obvious hunger and fullness signals from my body, which tell me when, how much

and sometimes what to eat;

Obvious physical comfort and discomfort which tells me which foods are most

satisfying and healthful for my body;

Recovery from c-diff symptoms (an intestinal bacteria) after 7 months of ongoing

treatment (only time will tell whether I get another recurrence);

And many other blessings including a loving marriage.

I wish all of you freedom from disordered eating and a strong physical sense of

when you need food, how much you need and what specific foods will best nourish

your bodies.
