You girls have me so excited and I can just imagine the laughter in my hospital room. I have imaginary pain now where my stitches will be just imagining. I would love the company even if I don't know or remember it. I'll even pack straws for everyone... I'll even try to arrange enough chairs for all the visitors, just let me know how many :)Pre-op3/1/01Dr. Thayer

(my daughter's name too),

When I was in the hospital, in the critical care section, the room was

packed full of residents and students. Now I am old - 54 now. Some of them

looked as if they could be my children.

Scary. There was one little twirp fresh guy who knew it all. I don't think

he was liked by the others and certainly not by me. I can't picture him

ever having a practice with people who would like him.

It is an amazing world! Sally

Joni:

I can't believe 1 week from today I will be in Florida. God I can't wait.

Yes, dh and I are leaving the kids with his dad and getting away for 2 days

to the keys. I have never been there while dh used to live there. I am not

staying at Key West, however we are traveling there to spend the day. Want

me to take notes?

Joni:

Someone once wrote you and told you to look at your scar in a positive way.

This is your key to the future, to a healthier, skinnier you. Don't look at

it as failure. We all need help with life, you needed Dr. Thayer to help

you. Me too. Actually everyone here needed help. Nothing wrong with that.

You should not be ashamed that you needed help to lose weight.
