get on your knees and sit on your heels.

Put one foot out straight behind you. and one under your chest and crouch down. Lean forward on the knee that is crouched under you as far as you can stretch it.

Yesterday went well for me.I walked at the park where the picnic was, but it wasn'tmy normal pace :-((Di, this morning I went out for my walk and could only do one circuit cause I hurt from below the front part of my ankle up my shin. I stopped halfway and tried stretching, but that didn't help :( I could have walked at a slower pace, but just decided to cut it short and go on home. I'm probably bucking the tide here, but I think Tuesday sounds like a

great day to start induction, and you can just do the best you can

until then - as long as you don't use it as an excuse to go nuts!

Sorry about your extremities and hope you improve soon.

be able to bandage my hand in a way that leaves me a little more

function....... in the meantime I am giving in and grabbing

convenient foods since I cant even open a package of cream cheese

without getting it all over me, try ripping one of those pouches open

with one hand and your teeth...... lol.... my 2 year old isnt much

help since it usually ends up on the floor.... soooooooo I am being

as good as I can, no candy and such, but some non induction foods

because I just cant cook right now...... ya, I am a little down in

the dumps, I really wanted to get back on plan, but I guess tuesday

will be just as good a day as any to restart>>

thanks Jen, I guess I needed to hear that....... :)

You dont have to worry about me buying large quantities of anything.. too hard to shop...... lol

-----Original Message-----Yeah.... sometimes a break is forced upon you. Try not to feel too guilty about it-- guilt is what put a lot of *my*weight on, anyway. Eat slowly and enjoy it, don't buy large quantities ofhigh carb foods so that you don't end up with the "but i hafta waste thisfood so I can't start induction" problem.

You are a brave woman! I like to know what I'm eating, LOL.

>I wasn't always certain what I was eating, though - one>snack had a strange taste, and I wondered if it was sliced squid

Isn't it wonderful when we get surprises like this!

>My big reward came before the trip when I was packing and discovered >that I>could wear all sorts of clothes that I had practically given up ever >being>able to put on again. So I think I will persevere with this way of >eating :)Keep the post coming, I like the others who have responded enjoyed your observations. :>)
