My best friend works at a church day care and she says the kids are always

sick all the time. :( She is even always sick now. It would be a good break

for you and give you a good chance to rest but if he started getting sick

alto it may be more stress.

Maybe try it for a week or so and see how it goes.

My 5 year old started in the Mother's Day out program at church when he was 2

and went two days a week for 3 or 4 hours a time and it gave me time to get a

lot of stuff done, as far as errands and cleaning and such. Plus Maddy was

just 10 months old and it gave us some one on one time. I love the church run

preschool programs, I think they are great! All of mine have gone to the same

one and it is at the church we attend. Here's how it'll work this year....all

for my sanity, mind you! LOL!

Tripp 5, starts Kindergarten.

Maddy 4, starts in the 4 year old class the church preschool and goes M, W,

F, 9-2, except Wed is 9-12.

Cody 2, will start in the 2 year old class at the church preschool and go

Mondays and Fridays from 9-2.

I've also found that it helps with potty training, they'll stick to the

schedule you set, if you ask them to.

So now this year, I will get one on one time with Tyler, 9 months! LOL! See

what I mean about sanity! hehe!

The do ALL normally catch some new strain of a cold every year around 3 or 4

weeks after they start, but I believe it's just a school thing. It normally

pretty mild, runny nose, a little cough and some stuffiness, but it's never

been worse than that and doesn't last very long.

Hope that helps you out some!

Jen

Hi, le!

The cleanser you're using is one of the best I have ever used. The

metronidazole is the most commonly prescribed antibiotic topical medication

for rosacea. I have used MetroCream, which made me break out in zits, and

MetroGel, which was better. Since I have both rosacea and acne, my

dermatologist treats me for both. Right now she has me on an antibiotic

called Cleocin T gel and at night I use Differin gel, a vitamin A exfoliant.

This plan would not work for people who have dry skin and rosacea, but it

works for me.

My skin is super oily in the summer, so I use Estee lauder Double Wear. It

is kind of thick if you're used to wearing sheer foundations, but I blend it

on with a sponge and it holds up in the heat. In the winter it's too dry for

me, so lately I've been using Oil of Olay Complete UV protective moisture

lotion for Sensitive Skin, and then concealer and powder. When I want more

coverage I can use other foundations.

If you tell me what type of coverage you want in a foundation and whether

your skin is oily, dry, or combination, maybe I can suggest something. I

have tried a lot of them!

How exciting! Did you feel like a kid again! We went to Salsbury State with my daughter for an open house and it was sooo cool! She loved it (so did I).

-- Hi

Well, Happy Monday! You ladies have been extremely busy the past few days! Itook a couple of days off from work and I come back to over 400 e-mails!!!!!!!I went to visit the college that I'll be attending when I am laid-off from work(University of North Carolina - Asheville). For all you newbies, the corporateoffice of Agfa has elected to close the facility where I am employed."Down-sizing" is what they're calling it to make us feel better! LOL Anyway, Igot some good news! With my associates degree, I have most of the generaleducation requirements already done! There are a couple of classes that I amshort on, but I can get those at night while I'm still working (I still don'tknow for how long). So, now you can prepare yourselves for all the whining I'mgoing to be doing as an almost-40-year-old returning to the classroom! BTW, mymajor will be education (middle school - science).I see we had some births this past week. Congratulations Grandma Sharon andAunt Becky!!Welcome to all the newcomers and, as always, congratulations to all you losers!I suppose I should do a little work since I'm here! Everybody have a wonderfulday!(water, water, water, cool water,so refreshing, mmmmmmmm)~There are no strangers here... Only friends that haven't met yet~

Y,

I had upper and lower surgery about 5 1/2 weeks ago in Austin. If

you are anywhere around here I can help you out. Otherwise you can

get referrals from your ortho and dentist. See if any names come up

on both lists. Do an initial consult with one or more surgeons to see

with whom you feel most comfortable.

Feel free to email me.

Hi,

Just thought I'd pop in here and read some posts. I see it has been since

January since I have posted anything, so I thought I'd say hi.

I've been doing okay. I'd say I'm about half an IE'r at this point. The one

thing I've really got %100 from IE is the realization that dieting has caused me

nothing but pain physically, psychologically and spiritually. There is just no

way I'd ever go on another diet again.

I still have a tendency to over-eat, and I have gained in size, but that has

leveled off. I don't think I'm gaining any weight for the past few months.

One thing that has been very positive is that my cravings for sugar seem to have

slowly dissipated. When I first started IE chocolate and other sugar infused

things where very high on the list of things I wanted. I did what IE suggests

and just ate it whenever I wanted to. It all seemed a little crazy, but now I

don't think about those items very often, so it really does work. I still get

cravings for sweet things, but only about once a week instead of all the time.

I think it's time I get get back to focusing on some IE concepts again. I think

I'll just pick one thing to try to improve at and work on that one thing.

Hello Arnie!!

I am so happy to read your post. I can very much relate to all of what you

wrote. When one begins IE its like letting the genie out of the bottle and

getting it back in (as in returning to dieting) is near impossible from then on.

The lovely part of IE is that its not a 'program with set goals', but more a

gentle nudge back towards what we all had to begin with. I've found that the

longer I go the IE 'way', the less I am bothered by the very things that got me

here in the first place. Yes old habits pop up, especially at stressful times,

but the happy thing is that we have newer and better practices to counteract

those occurrences too. I and it seems many of the loner term members have also

made mention of getting to a 'leveling off' point which has to be a step before

the last of the IE practices 'kick in' :) :)

hi,i'm new to the group so it's nice to hear your doing well not dieting.i want to get to that point. i'm not dieting but i still think about it. i refuse to give anymore money to support any diet group.i could probably retire on the money i have spent on diet books and groups.i really get very inspired by the words i read here. it's so hard in todays society to be ok with yourself when you see whats suppose to be normal. we are all so unique and special in our own way. this is a great
