Sheryn ___________________ I must have missed why milk should be avoided - by people in general or by those with tumors? Is it that the milk itself can have hormones it that we don't need? Could someone clue me in? Barbara B , I don't mean I'm dismissing what you say, I've changed my eating alotlistening to your advice. I just meant, I liked the sound of it, theoccasional no-no. Sure finding out quickly how they effect how we feel andhow much more energy we have. At Oz we were more lenient, but red meat, white bread, sugar......are replaced at our house with veggies and somefruit. We're trying and slowly switching, in fact we have quite a bitalready :-). I've even practically cut out the chocolate, pop is on its wayout, although caffeine free and 1 calorie. Milk, we drink alot less and alotmore water. I had a teacher from Africa that said in class one day ' humansare the only mammal that doesn't wean itself from milk as it matures,' isthat true? Also, I heard a program on TV about cancer, MS....otherillnesses, and he also mentioned milk and hormones that they are fed, scary. We love it, 1%.I wonder if a small farmer could supply us, instead of store milk suppliedby big dairies. Would it make a difference, granddpa never fed his fewcattle hormones. Never saw milk at Walmart up here. Maybe the new mall storewill carry it.Sheryn
