Congratulations Penny,

My orientation is next week... so a year from now I hope to be in

your shoes... ok well... maybe pants :-) 130 pounds off me would be

awesome!

I just wanted to share a milestone here ~

I religiously read all the posts here and admire

and love each and

everyone of you for being here and sharing both

your good and bad

times. It sure is incredible how an

" on-line " support group can help

sooo much!

Well my big week ~ my orientation was Nov, 1 2003

~ one year ago

yesterday and I have lost 130 pounds total so far

but the real

biggie is that I put on my first pair of

" real " jeans today and they

fit so perfect ~ yeee hawwww I have not been able

to do a zipper in

who knows how long ~ I am just bursting at the

seams (lol) with

excitement!!

I am gonna try and be a good girl and get more

Hi Penney,

Don't worry about taking a while to reply. If you do, then I'll have to

worry too 'cuz I am always falling behind in keeping up.

Your post touched on some of the things that this surgery is really

about . . . improving our health and living life fully. I am amazed and

envious of your energy. Where do you teach the aqua aerobics? It must

feel fantastic to be able to do that.

Congrats on your impending nuptials. We will, of course, want pictures.
