I worked in a day care in OKLAHOMA and you could not have more then 4 baby's for every adult. That even seemed a bit high because most of the time the baby's were just laying there looking at the floor or celing. It was sad. I am sooo glad doesn't have to go to one. The cheapest daycare I found that I would even THINK about putting Hunter is was $10,000 a year. Okay - I have a question... how do I go about taking care of a another baby during the day? We just moved to LA and hubby is still looking for work. Rent is due in a couple of weeks and our bank account is wiped out. MD lets you keep 6 kids, but I am pretty sure that is including your own kids. Over 6 you have to have a license. (every how many) would like to keep your child in my home. Very loving home with lots to do.....you know something like that.....make it good!!!! You could also put a couple of flyers at the supermarket or maybe just word of mouth. If you know some mothers that have children maybe you could talk to them. I've been sitting here crying all day because things are a lot harder than we thought they would be. I *know* hubby will get a great job - he's trying SO hard - it's just taking longer than we expected. Plus we are newly all the way across country so we don't know anyone and it's pretty frightening. I wanted to babysit even if hubby made a lot of money so I could have money of my own and Hunter could have someone besides me to stare at all day! lol - but now things are just a bit more urgent.
