Sounds an awful lot like the yeast infection I had on my chest: it was from mino, but nothing to worry about. My doc had me buy Lamosil over the counter, I used it per the directions, and the rash went away. I continued mino with no problems. Lamicil is available for athlete's foot or jock itch if you buy it at OTC at a store: chose whichever sound better to you They are all the same. If it doesn't itch a lot, it probably isn't an allergic reaction: I've had both, allergic rashes itch like crazy, my yeast rash just itched a little. Guest guest
was wondering if anyone knows what a rash would like if it was caused by yeast problem. what i have been dealing with seems more like hives. they are hot. i just got another on my arm...deltoid...which is my weakest area. i don't have any other symptom of yeast problem but someone had mentioned it sounds like when they had yeast problem. thank you. rachael DM 10 yrs AP 5 weeks
Guest guest
, I get hives from just the initial minocin treatment as sometimes it does that at thebeginning but does disappear. I saw you tried the benedryl. if you cannot handle that perhaps there is another antihistine that younwill do well on. Thats the best bet. Keep and eye on it and if it worsens consult your doc. Guest guest
I feel your pain. I went thru a period of chronic hives/rash..... it seemed to be set off by just about anything. My body was in hyper-sensitive mode due to several reasons, one being I had mold in my house.Until that was found and removed, nothing seemed to help! Once the mold was removed, Zyflo, rantitidine, elimination diet, benadryl, relaxation from acupuncturist, all of those things helped. I think the Zyflo and rantitidine helped the greatest. Are there any other outside influences that could be triggering your hives/rash? Allergies/stress/pet dander/etc?
