Guest guest
! Mazel Tov! May your son teach you all of the hidden meanings of love and of yourself that my two sons have taght me. The still have yet to teach me to appreciate sports, even though they played almost every one, ane certainly never the understanding of watching sports on television. What a joy you have, nonetheless, and the expression " bringing out the best in me " surely was meant for a child. Best wishes for beating back the monster and getting it done. --Nee If we can't put up with each other, how can we put up with ourselves? (Uh... that's how it goes, right?) Guest guest
Joan, I’ve got to tell you about my 4th and 5th child. I always wanted a big family like 4 or 5 kids, and now I have that. I have a 4 year old named Wally, and a 3 year old named Lillie, they are my “forever in fur toddlers”, they are much like my kids! They are two little American Cocker Spaniels, Wally is my special needs dog, he has had some kind of a brain injury, he appears happy all the time, mouth open tongue hanging out, tail wagging faster then I’ve ever seen before, but try to take away his marble or bone, and he will go off on you!! He loves to play with marbles, he barks at everything, including himself, when he passes gas, he runs in circles and bark!! But you got love him. Lillie thinks she is the princess of the house, she prances around, sleeps wherever she wants, (it was no animals on the furniture, until she came along) this is the first animal I have seen my husband give into! So I think you can get just as much out of your pets as you can kids, the nice thing about our pets, is that we can leave them in the laundry room when we’re gone, I can’t do that with the kids at that age, darn!! So you see it might even be better to have pets!! Love is love, enjoy every minute of it!! God Bless you and your “family”, Marla Re: on her new arrival Well, since I don't and won't have children, I hope a demanding Persian Cat who insists upon treats at the most inopportune times, and requests for Mommy to play with his toys along with him, vs. him playing with them by himself, can come as close as possible to the joys of motherhood as possible. By no means am I presuming a cat can be compared to a child, but, hey, I still don't get the fascination nor understand the " Catsitter Video " he loves to watch on TV!...for those of you who do not have cats nor know what the " Catsitter Video " is ... it is a several-hour long video of a cat's all-time favorite things ... gerbals, mice, squirrels, birds ... it's my Sunday-nite favorite!...lol!!!
