Guest guest
I broke my pinky toe on Friday So now I'm hobbling around in my little boot... it doesn't hurt that much as long as nothing touches it and I don't put any weight on the outside of my foot.. which is surprisingly hard to do! I'd been doing really well too, changed my supplements for cholesterol reduction, tracking my food intake to learn more about my non-hunger eating habits WITHOUT falling into Diet Hell, getting back to Curves 3 times a week and loving the feeling of my body getting stronger ... and now this <whine> on the plus side, I didn't turn into the Very Hungry Caterpillar and eat my way through the household just because I was pissed off about being laid up this weekend so that is progress at the emotional level! And I think that even though I'm limping badly at the moment, I can still do all but 2 of the machines at curves and keep making progress on my upper body strength. It just felt sooo good to feel the life returning to my body with regular strength training that I don't want to lose it again, ya know? anyway, I haven't posted in a while due to working on my thesis so wanted to check in with both the bad news and my Intuitive Eating successful response to a setback - so far at least LOL - Mikki
Guest guest
That is awesome (not the toe breaking part!). Think about how you may have reacted in the past and compare it to now. I'm sure the difference is amazing! I'm glad you're doing well, and I hope that toe gets better pronto! > > I broke my pinky toe on Friday So now I'm hobbling around in my little > boot... it doesn't hurt that much as long as nothing touches it and I don't > put any weight on the outside of my foot.. which is surprisingly hard to do! > I'd been doing really well too, changed my supplements for cholesterol > reduction, tracking my food intake to learn more about my non-hunger eating > habits WITHOUT falling into Diet Hell, getting back to Curves 3 times a week > and loving the feeling of my body getting stronger ... and now this <whine> > > on the plus side, I didn't turn into the Very Hungry Caterpillar and eat my > way through the household just because I was pissed off about being laid up > this weekend so that is progress at the emotional level!
