Guest guest
I am starting to keep kids in my home. I only have one right now but hey that is 50 dollars more then I had at the beginning of the week. People just don't realize what it takes to be SAHM these days. And they also don't realize the tax break that you get (sometimes) when you drop your income. I sure didn't realize it until we did our taxes for last year and we actually got money back. I do plan on going back to work one day but probably not until all my children get into school and if that is the case that will be when I am 30 years old b/c I want more children. Martha Martha, Speaking as a person who has made babysitting my business for 7 years.....This one child youre watching for $50....i hope its not full time!!! OMGosh, the least i have worked for was $60 a week and that was 7 YEARS ago! The last kids i just got rid of, i was watching an infant (albeit) 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, until the week before was born, for $90 a week!!!! I also had 2 other kids, siblings, for 3, not quite full, days a week and they were $80! Please don't seel yourself short! Babyaitting is a VERY difficult job! ---Debbie ___________________________________________________________________ Get the Internet just the way you want it. Here in Ontario, each child is about $20-$25/day! Daycare centers are even more, especially for infants (Under 2) Gazley Mom to (Oct 8, 1998) http://members.tripod.com/~MysticMom
Guest guest
Debbie, Are you claiming this income on your taxes?......The going rate for daycare around here is only 65 dollars a week. So I have to be below the rate for daycare inorder to get some children. Martha
