I have been doing IE for about 10 months now and I love it when this happens!

When I stopped with the have to/shoulds my entire mood turned around!

our trip and I had looked at them and thought that it would take us quite a

while to eat them all.

have some cereal. I went to get my cereal in our pantry and there were those

snacks. I saw the bag of Cheetos which I had bought on our vacation and never

opened. I really wanted some of those Cheetos but told myself that I should

have the cereal, it was late at night and I didn't need something so fatty late

at night.

Cheetos. I had once read about Geneen Roth having a similar experience in

Breaking Free From Compulsive Eating where she had wanting something and had

something else and ended up grazing all night because she wasn't satisfied.

Since the Cheetos kept bothering me and I REALLY wanted them, I finally told

myself that I'd better just go ahead and have them if I wanted them that badly.

ate it. It was absolutely divine and I loved it. I continued to slowly eat the

Cheetos with my eyes closed and after about 8 or 10 of them I noticed that they

didn't taste as divine anymore and I was able to stop eating them and put the

bag away.
