Guest guest
I took Katchas advice and ran off the 10 I.E. principles and have them in 3 different places that I always go (including the car). Thank you! There is no doubt the areas I am still not " getting " are #5-7. Like someone else mentioned, I have not really sensed that point to stop so far. I am consciously stopping halfway at times but it is still not clear. The emotional eating....beit anxious, happy or otherwise is still very present. It is good for me to write this out. I am talking to several close friends in town but they are not on the plan. Thanks for any more thoughts. I so desire freedom from the lifelong connection I have had between food and emotions. I am 25-30 lbs. overweight. I know that is not the focus but I do feel bogged down. Glad to be a part of the program with you all. Guest guest
Carol, consistency comes with practice. And if you can find a way to turn the effort into either a fun or chosen way, I bet it goes easier for you too. Diets are all about rules, compulsion, compliance etc etc. IE is more about finding YOUR own way. Keeping things as simple and as (self) non-judgmental as possible will help too. Myself I find it easier to think in terms of this being a journey, especially one where I can set the pace and directions, rather than a program which feels more 'set up' for me ;-) Keep posting. I look forward to hearing about your IE journey too. Best wishes - Katcha IEing since March 2007 > > I took Katchas advice and ran off the 10 I.E. principles and have them in 3 different places that I always go (including the car). Thank you!
